We’re currently looking for a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a construction background who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a team that builds essential infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn and grow with CIK Power.
Responsibilities
- Assist crews with tasks related to underground and aerial utility construction
- Operate or support operation of construction equipment (e.g., trenchers, compactors)
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Load and unload materials, clean job sites and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures
- Travel to various job sites throughout Southern California
- Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe condition
- Take direction and work effectively in a team environment
- Represent CIK in a professional manner on job sites
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, push, and pull repetitively
- Willingness to work in varying conditions (heat, cold, rain) and extended hours if needed
- 1+ year of experience in construction preferred but not required
- Experience operating underground equipment a plus
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime and weekend work as needed
Pay
$18.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
